What do we offer?

Each year the programs that we are able to offer vary. Here is a list of programs that we run through our Community Services.

  • Food services.
  • Emergency shelter (referral only)
  • LEAP Hydro One utility Assistance.
  • Children’s Summer Adventure Camps
  • Coats for kids.
  • Back to school supplies.
  • Christmas Hamper food distribution.
  • Christmas Kettle Volunteering (helping fund the services we provide)

We are well connected with our community partners. If we cannot directly help you, we will connect you with someone who can.

Back Packs For Kids

Every fall we help kids prepare for school, by providing back packs and school supplies to those in need, that register for the program.

Coats For Kids

In the fall when weather starts to get cold we provide coats for kids, so they have what they need to stay warm.

Clothing

We are pleased to have a beautiful Salvation Army Thrift Store in downtown New Liskeard. Inside you will find good value in our quality gently used clothing. If you are in crisis and are in need of clothing or housewares (due to fire, flooding, family breakdown) please call the office and we can offer vouchers to get you back on your feet.
